In this first step we will explore fundamental principles for cultivating hydrated and vibrant skin. The principles covered in this first step are the foundation for much of the information to follow. We will continue circling back to these principles as we journey through the Holistic Hydration Method. I encourage you to take you time in absorbing these fundamental principles, so they may be transformed into embodied knowledge to support you in caring for your skin, through all life stages.

What you will need

You may wish to use a pen and paper for the integration exercises. I do recommend manually journalling as opposed to using a phone or laptop to support your body and mind to be as calm and grounded as possible.

Designate a sacred space

Given that slow living and relaxation play such a vital role in cultivating healthy skin, I encourage you to watch the content at a time when you can be present and calm. It can be supportive to designate a sacred space for this purpose, where you can feel calm and relaxed. This will support you to properly digest the content, so you can transform it into embodied knowledge.
